Hmm, I don’t think it makes much sense from both the compensation/work life balance perspective. NFLX mostly gets G/FB engineers to their personal top of market that is may be from high 200’s to low 400’s. You should be able to negotiate that with your manager itself. I don’t know of even a single staff engineer among my friends who bothered moving to NFLX at a later point in their career. The other point being work life balance; NFLX ain’t renowned for that anyways when compared to G.
