Background: I’ve been in MBB consulting for 3.5 years. Started as an analyst (post-undergrad) and now have a post-MBA position (without the MBA). Current TC: ~200K Question: I’m thinking of moving from consulting to tech and am looking at Biz Ops, strategy and PM roles. Do you think I would be able to get increase my TC through the move? Any data points would be helpful.
Wayfair likes to hire ex consultants.
They call them "Meeting Mercenaries"
You can probably get a small increase. I don’t see you getting a PM job with your experience, though. If you’re interested, your best bet would be to start in BizOps and then try to transfer internally to a PM position.
Yes this is true....biz ops or Corp strat
Lateral in TC probably
