Yes
135 is doable but isn't exactly comfy living in the Bay Area. Do you have a family to support, or are you single? If the latter, and a move is less painful and risky. Hard to move and get any decent housing if you have kids
I made 135 when my rent was 1300 and I had roommates and I hated that. I can't imagine raising a family on that.
Yes I have a kid and my current company is applying for I480. But I am as a consultant here in Intel
Even Starbucks in the Bay area pay more.
135k is not much for the Bay Area
How much base + bonus would be a number good enough to move to Bay area. My current take home is 130k
Depends on where you make your $130k. With a kid I’d say 135 is going to be a stretch. Much depends on your lifestyle and commitments (vacations / schooling / real estate hopes) but I’d say ballpark 200k TC would be required for a renter with a kid through school and living a pretty basic life.
Take it if you have no other option and you can then move.
Doable, but will be tight due to the rents here. Are you in a single income situation or do you have a partner who contributes?
If you're making 130 anywhere else you need to have a 40% increase to match quality of life. I would not move my children here and I'm actively looking to leave.
135K with kid in bay area is peanuts ..ask them for at least 150K+
135k is too low for bay man. You should ask for more

No
Can you please elaborate
If you are moving from anywhere except NYC, you need at least 2x pay increase to just break even.
