Moving to Bay Area with Xilinx offer. What is minimum salary to expect ?
Have offer as base $180K and total comp as $240k. RSU is less as part of total comp, and I don't know if Xilinx gives more joining RSUs here. Also does xilinx match unvested RSU here ? Any suggestion in terms of total compensation at xilinx ?

What are you smoking? That would be a $4500/month payment. You’re far better off getting a rent controlled 2 BR in Oakland/Berkeley/Richmond for half as much and banking $2-2.5K/month.
