How good is the tech scene in Denver ? Are there any established companies and opportunities, as I am looking for stability.
Cost of living versus pay is good too
What type of role are you looking for? The cable industry is huge here with nearly every major player and their vendors having a presence in the Denver Tech Center.
Backend developer. Mostly worked in Java so far.
Check out Levels Beyond, they do workflow/MAM/media orchestration. https://www.reachengine.com/software-engineer/
You shouldn't have a problem finding something, at least in the DTC area. There are a lot more positions than candidates. If you start looking and can't find what you want, reach out to a recruiter. They should be able to find you more interviews than you have time for.
This is so true. I was hired on at a company for 20 grand above what I'm paid now in dtc awhile back. I left due to issues with the boss but it's so easy to find work there for this industry

Not familiar with any large corps here but there is plenty of opportunity between Denver and Boulder a half hour away. Lots of start ups in Boulder and a good spread of tech jobs across downtown denver and the denver tech center. I work downtown for a startup but unfortunately we aren't hiring anything but sales at the moment.
