As the title says… Contemplating a move to Bellevue/kirkland/redmond area for networking purposes. Did anyone move to seattle area for networking and career growth recently? If so, how was it feasible during wfh? #wfh #seattle #networking #tech
Seattle became lame Lived there when I was in HS during the grunge era in Queen Anne hill. Ate pizza at pagliacci sitting next to Alice In Chains … used to see Pearl Jam, Dave Grohl … it was cool
Amazing, probably were great times. I live 30 miles from Seattle, and i have nothing to look for there. I come to RED and BEL occasionally, but don't miss them as well.
Seattle is very lame. Thought it would be full of non-Indian Asians but no one even knows what the Korean spicy noodle challenge is
Don't start the conversation with - Hey, you look familiar... I've seen those folks from MLM so many times that I run in the opposite direction if someone says "Hey..."
Hey hun....
I'm born and raised in Seattle, still here 41 years later. Don't move here this city is a piece of crap
Please elaborate
Perché Amazon puzza di merda. Dovrebbe lasciare a uno posto dove la vita è meglio di più
It's the age of all remote. Networking can happen over emails, written exchanges and video calls. What exactly are you looking for that you think you will find physically in Seattle but not online?
I've been living in the greater Seattle area for 4 years. Waste of time for networking purposes Create social media presence on Linked-in, Twitter, youtube with relevant tech content, or tips on career advice.
I moved to Redmond from Chicago for career growth, people are not much friendly. No one say hi/hello when you pass by, I regret moving here. No one comments on any of the posts or online discussions in neighborhood app.
I work for Discovery Inc
Come to Bay Area. People are nice and weather is amazing.
