If you join and the team or work does not end up like you thought it would be, is there any minimum time? I am thinking 1 year should be good enough time to realise whether you like working in the team or not?
Also, does it impact gc processing?
Which teams have low bars?

That must suck for that one person. Majority of people I know vouch for msft when it comes to stability so I tbjnk for most people long term employment works out

  • You probably need less than a year to realise you don’t enjoy the work/team. Start interviewing ASAP pal.

    • Lol it’s a big company and there are lots of teams, you can interview internally without your manager finding out if you want unless you have a good relationship with your manager, I’ve had pretty good ones in the past so I often let them know I’m looking for something else beforehand so they know. And @OP, how do you know it’ll be a bad team/work if you haven’t started? I’d say wait until you start then decide.
