I had 5 interviews with Goldman Sachs. The last interview was three weeks ago and I have not heard anything since. I received another offer two weeks ago and I followed up with Goldman's recruiter via email but did not get any response. I heard that usually the offers are sent within a few days after the interviews. Does it mean I do not have any chance? Do you recommend me following up with Goldman again? If so, how? Phone call or email? Thank you! Appreciate your feedback! #interview #finance #goldmansachs
HCM is terrible and slow, keep followings up - calls etc. - to get a definitive answer from them. They owe you that.
Called HCM today, first time they did not pick it up. The second time, they cut it off 😞. I will move on.
Take whatever offer you got. This bank sucks ass.
😂
What is the feeling of your ass being sucked?
Would say keep interviewing. Sometimes budget or re-orgs could cause changes in circumstances regarding the role opening. Assume the worst, and most likely you can get into someplace better.
Why robinhood to GS? Bad move. For me I got offer three months after my last interviews, but that was during pandemic .
3 months after last interviews holy crap. Did they offer an explanation?
“Pandemic”
I was unemployed for more time with GS offer than without one. Typical GS ! Wait if you want to...
Which division and what role? Also why robinhood to GS?
Don't join GS - it sucks
leetcode all the way
Call up recruiter and tell them you have an offer and a deadline to join. This is very standard and they often start preparing their offer after candidate shows another offer. In the meanwhile I suggest to be ready to take whatever offer you have.
I did this and they sent me an angry reject. They are the worst.
They took several weeks when I was interviewing for internship. I had a couple of competing offers and pressed them to respond but they said they needed more time since they had some reorg going on. I eventually ended up withdrawing my application
