It is morally incorrect to file multiple H1 visas with no valid offers. People filing 3 or 4 visas from several Indian consultancies, you are eating into other's chances, which is not your cup of tea to drink. #workvisa #h1b #morallynotcorrect

People just try to cheat the system and as long as USCIS doesn’t take any harsh steps, it will continue.

I know a few people who filed 4 visas from 4 corners of the country and all of them got picked. Some one in last year of Stem opt, genuinely needing a H1 visa to continue, is deprived of all the chances.

    • I filed my H1 application for the 3rd time and it dint get picked yet. So yes, I am not talking from a safe harbor.

These are things totally out of our control and why do you want to entertain these thoughts? Not worth discussing IMHO.

True, but it's pretty hard to digest that one's whole future is at the mercy of these consultancies, rather than USCIS.

This post reminds me of a an interesting quote - "Rightousness is a word used by the person who isn't going to win the war". It's a poor translation but you get the gist. I totally understand what you're saying but it's a dog eat dog world and before I'm heads ripped off for this comment, I applied for only one petition a year from my actual employer and thanks to some higher power somewhere I got my work visa in my second attempt. I used to think the same too about these consultancies and realized all this was doing was made me get angry and did jack in stopping those consultancies. So I had two options either shut up or figure out what consultancies these were and record evidence of malpractice and share it with USCIS. I didn't havw the energy to do all that so I just shut up and stopped thinking too much.

What's the meaning of RIGHT in your mind ?
USCIS has clearly mentioned in FAQ that multiple employers can do registration for a person , considering end client is not same.

Sure, if you have an offer from the end client, you have the luxury of choosing. Most of the applicants, don't have an end client offer. RIGHT in my mind, means morally right. Pretty hard to see the lives of few genuine candidates being at the disposal of these fake multiple offer H1 filing. #justventing
