I have multiple referrals from Google employees. I can probably get 1-2 more referrals. In the meantime I got rejected for multiple ML and data science related roles! What do you suggest next? Improve my CV, CL, start a blog, include my ML videos and presentations, get course certificates, or join Kaggle/HackerRank ranks?! I have about 3 weeks left before my current referrals expire. Google accepts maximum of 3 concurrent applications. I'm very strong in Python, data science, ML algorithms, open-source development, speaking at events and conferences, tweeting on Twitter :) I don't have PhD, but I have 2 Masters and my publications are specific to my current modeling experience. I'm not applying for research positions.
What position is this for?
machine learning, data scientist roles
Are publications required?
Oh so sad , if you are planning suicide call me , I know this is devastating and your world is coming down shattering . I pray god will give you the power to get through such a hard time .

Blogging for just 3 weeks, the HC ought to be smarter than that! Just study hard and give your best. Interviewers are always 50% luck. You can only control the remaining 50%.
I'm getting rejected after application process, not being interviewed or even called. Just received the messages from HR.
Are you sure your peeps are actually referring you?
I tweet on Twitter too. Google never invited me to interview. What am I doing wrong?
Some self-sarcasm in a serious post does not reveal itself so well I guess
You didn’t plus on google plus
ML jobs are in a spectrum and I have found recruiters often don’t even know what they are looking. Are these rejections form other FANG? Every one has their own requirements. I would say don’t loose hope and make sure to highlight your relevant experience/ project to match job description for better chance of getting interview. If you are new grad, good rank and article in kaggle, open source project will get you noticed. But this is long term game , nothing you could do in 3weeks. Prepare cv and hope for best. Whatever happens keep trying though.
I'm not a new hire, very experienced. Also have teaching experience.
Then kaggle etc is not much of value add. ML job requirements and questions are all over the spectrum, there is not even clear guideline on what to look for. keep trying you will get a bite sooner or later
Start a company. Get acquired by Google.
That is more than 3 weeks :(
