Mumbai consulate- Admin Processing after the interviewer said VISA approved
My application status is Administrative Processing even after a week of visa interview. first time F1 to H1B status change. (I had used change of status when applying for h1b). what can i do about it. 185k, 3 yoe
It happened to me few years back. Just took few more days and then they said passport ready. Did they ask any other document from you? For me they said it's on them and no action needed from my side.
They did not ask for anything. Interview was over within 30s.
What were your course of study, your specialization, and your work role?
Everything is well aligned... CE bachelors, software engineer job, CS masters, software engineer job
It’s very common, give it upto 2 weeks.
It happened to me last month..approved..kept passport..then admin processing with no docs from my end..took 2 weeks to clear

I know one of my friend was in same situation. He got his passport after 3 weeks. So chill bro, Enjoy your stay.
Max 3-5 weeks.. several people from our office got it in average of 2-3 weeks

They did not ask for anything. Interview was over within 30s.
Generally if they don't ask for documents there is less chance of additional delays. I was in a similar situation and got it in 10 days.
