Let's say recruiter from company A is expediting my offer because I told them about a deadline for company B coming up soon. While waiting for offer from company A, I receive an offer from company C that I'd easily pick over B. Should I tell recruiter from A that they no longer need to expedite because I decided to decline B due to offer from C?

I would like to hear from A sooner, but I don't want to put undue stress on A for no reason.

Maybe my brain is fried from LC but the first answer I thought of was topologically sorting the offers

Keep and raise the urgency if you want the best offer. In fact, tell A that you now also have a really amazing offer from C, but keep the B deadline

Let them know that you got a better offer that ranks higher on your list. It’s not that deep. Recruiters want companies to get offers out asap and will be pushing regardless. We would never do anything to slow a process. If anything it just helps with comp negotiations
