Hey guys!
I got an offer from my desired company on Friday of $65k base with 10% of my salary ($6,500) up to 20% ($13,000) bringing the total possible annual compensation up to $78,000.
It’s for a Client Success Manager position at a software start up. I did a counter off for $77k base and they denied it. The only reason it was denied because I don’t have housing industry knowledge but everything else. Should I do another counter to ask for at least $70k base or is that professional?
During my initial conversation regarding salary I did mention my salary expectation were $70k-$75k and was told that was within their budget.
What should I do?
