Hey all
I took my loop with capital one financial services team for sr manager pm role today. My interviews went very well and I was called by recruiter 2 hours after my look that cap one wanted to extend offer.
However they said they would consider me for manager pm role instead of pm.
I believe that is post MBA role. I have 3.5 yrs of post MBA experience in strategy & ops and pm. Pre MBA 5 years of pm and overall 10 years pre MBA
Initial offer that was discussed 170k base with 20k bonus. Role is remote and I’m based out of Austin.
Please can you guys give me review how is this offer. It seems low to me.
Currently at Dell TC 155k
This was my first interview outside and I don’t want to take anything in a hurry. #product #pm #productmanager

It seems low for PM (let along manager) but I have no ideal about CapOne - just talking tech PMs in general. For context I’m a Tech PM (with 2 reports) at series C startup. Base alone is $225
