Hello,
I received an online assessment from Amazon to complete in a week. I was wondering what I should expect from each session and what approach would be ideal.
Should I include comments, examples, and edge cases in my coding? How is it assessed?
Is there an example question for the system design section?
What might I anticipate from work style surveys?
Overview
There are three types of exercises in the assessment:
Coding challenge: this timed section takes 90 minutes and works through two coding problems.
Work simulation: typically takes 15 minutes to work through system design problems faced by SDEs at Amazon.
Workstyle surveys: two surveys, typically take 15 minutes to complete two surveys and you answer questions about how you approach your work.

If you could only pass some test cases , recruiter might ask for a Phone interview , only here you need to discuss approach or test cases
Work style and work simulation are more like survey questionnaires focused on basic system design concepts and to assess team/individual contribution skills (mostly based on your experience you can answer)
For system design survey, any book or course to look at?
Any tip on system design questions? what to expect?
