Meme’ing and humor is encouraged. The company is liberal and focuses on inclusivity and equality.
Work life balance will vary by team but in my experience managers are focused on encouraging employee wellbeing and forcing folks to actually use our unlimited PTO.
I’ve never met a team that should be avoided. It is a microservice/devops shop so most tech teams do oncall. It’s going to vary based on service design but incidents are what you would expect at a mature technology company. Not a ton, not none. No flaming wreckage being managed.
If you have the opportunity to work at twitch, take it.
