Hey folks!
I've studied economics at a top university (finished in the top 5%) with a concentration in data science and took the following CS-related classes (I've been creating software for many years before starting my undergrad studies -> thus I skipped intro-CS classes and also didn't major in CS in the first place):
* Intro to AI
* ML
* Frontend Web Architecture (React stuff etc.)
* Databases
* Cryptography
* Data Science
Also, I've created various fully-fledged Web/Android applications (mostly using React and Angular) and backend applications (custom RESTful APIs written in Java, Python, PHP) including authentication stuff (oAuth etc.).
Furthermore, I know a lot about AWS as I've been using it for almost 6 years now.
___
Do you think that I (and other people like me) can land interviews at FANG+Stripe+Uber+Airbnb+LinkedIn companies? (excluding Amazon & Microsoft)
Or is having the "Computer Science" degree of such high importance that it makes me have a major disadvantage?

Seem better qualified than a lot of swe.
cs. Both top schools, cs degree was top 10 worldwide. No-one cares, what you need is experience
I've recently joined Amazon, since I virtually onboarded not feeling connected with the team, and getting demotivated. Hopefully I get to meet the team soon:')
