Failed onsite again. Itโ€™s getting ridiculous at this point. Months of work, prep is just gone. I just hate it even more when I have to complete take-homes then 5-hours of on-site and then I fail.

How much perfect I need to be? I am excelling at work here, regularly studying, multiple side projects. Iโ€™m even doing great on technical interviews and on-site. And my soft skills are great too, never had an issue.

I am really desperate to leave cause AT&T just doesnโ€™t feel right for me. And I fear if I stay here longer my skills will regress ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜ž

Itโ€™s hard to get interviews in first place. 90% of the times Iโ€™m just rejected in resume screening itself.

Life is so unfair sometimes. As much as I do the hard work, struggle, luck isnโ€™t on my side at all.

With that said, if any of yโ€™all teams are hiring just give me a chance. If you donโ€™t like my profile, happy to get constructive criticism.

Maybe spend less time on blind and more on prep?

I feel you. Unfortunately you just have to be 'the best' on that particular time/day. And with some DS roles you're going up against a LOT of people who might just be better that day. And then there's all the stuff outside of your control, like whether your interviewer is in a good mood going into your interview or if they already have someone else in mind before they even talk to you. If it's any consolation, you were able to be 'the best' for AT&T once so you can do it again, just gotta keep going

Hey ATT. Just wanted to say keep your head up and keep on trying. You only need one yes out of all the nos.

Glad to hear that you understand what you could've done better. Also I agree with you on all the shit u have to put up with e.g. take home and several hours of interviewing.

It'll pay off some day. It just sucks today. It's OK to vent. We've all been there and understand. Shitty day. Have a beer, relax. Do something to relieve some stress. You'll make it.

  • The prep didnโ€™t go anywhere. Treat every failure as a learning opportunity because thatโ€™s what it is
