Anyone living at these new construction townhomes? How's the neighborhood? Does the builder negotiate? Any pros/cons you thought of before buying? The townhomes are slightly cheaper compared to others in Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area. Any ideas why? Thanks!
I drove by that area because I was also interested, saw a couple homeless folks in the park right by the community. Decided not to consider
Thanks! I like the floor plans and planning to put in an offer. Agree with the area not being great but the pricing seems great and I like the accessibility to stores and the caltrain. Are there any other communities in a similar price range you are looking at?
I think you can find competitively priced townhouses in Campbell. Their neighborhoods are much nicer and safer afaik
I just bought a new construction sfh from the same builder. So far, I have been impressed with the build quality and customer service.
Thank you all for the responses. I decided to ahead with catalina.
Hi, What helped you make your mind ?
Their plans are really good and about the right size. The only other plans(within the same budget) I liked we're in Newark and too big. Given the proximity to stores/caltrain/downtown I believe this property would be easier to rent out in the future.
IMO, that area is not great. Lots of homeless people and shady looking people. I haven’t spent too much time in that area so correct me if I’m wrong.
