At Microsoft its standard - PM1 -> PM2-> Sr PM -> Principal PM-> Group PM -> Partner ->VP -> CVP -> EVP

Till Sr Prinicipal PM , its considered to be IC roles. After Sr Prinicipal PM, it depends on which managerial level you may fall. But typically its like:
