Yoe?

Location?

What is your level at Amazon and YoE as a SA?
OCI .. it's nascent . With your experience at Amazon you will have better problem to solve and you would solve easily . Unless you wind up under a shitty leadership with no vision or scope . MSFT - here you are mostly a replacement for someone who did not want to continue working the job and moved out . Half the time your job may entail running interference . But sometimes you .may strike gold . However I would choose OCI .
Thanks for ur honest feedback. Let me decide
What kind of position is this? SWE? Is the bonus (102k) once? Or annually?
This is Annual bonus pays quarterly
Role: Solutions Architect
Can I ask about your Microsoft CSA interview? Have one in a couple weeks
It was 3 round. All scenario based questions
How long after the final interview did they get back to you with the offer?
Msft might look good on your resume compared to oracle.
I agree. But I finally want to work for Google. So having Oracle retail vertical exp makes any help?
Does that help you to land in a role you are looking at google? Then may be yes. Also remember that you can change teams easily at msft to the one that has the kind of domain/expertise u r looking for.
The bonus and annual stock numbers from Microsoft are lies, you'll only get that if you get 200% on your yearly rewards evaluation. Expect to get about half of the max bonus and stock each year at Microsoft.
Thanks for this info. In that case ORCL might be better option seems . What you think?
Take microsoft. Oracle will only pay max 20-50% of your bonus target and you won't get any raise first 4 years. Congrats on that type of offer. I have 20 YOE and got half that and no equity.
My plan is to stay Oracle / MSFT for 2 years then move to Google. In that case is MSFT offer is better than ORCL?
I would take Msft
This should be the correct TC breakdown since you don't get the first stocks until month 13. For year 1 do not include the annual stock and cash bonus. You are too late in the year to qualify. Then don't include the first $50k in sign-on because you get that in month 13.
So what would be the correct breakdown if I join mid June
You will have your salary+sign on for year 1. Year 2 will have salary+sign on rsu+annual cash bonus. Year 3 will have salary+sign on rsu+annual cash bonus+year 2 annual rsu

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
MSFT per hour pay will be more. y leaving Amazon?
What do u mean by MSFT pay will be more?
"per hour pay" you'll be putting in way fewer hours at MSFT than OCI so even if OCI TC could be more, per hour pay will be more for MSFT
