Intel is coming... wait for 2.5 years intel will be back with a bang...you name the category gpu, cpu, AI/ML, process intel will be standing straight commanding the position over others...
Honestly, it's one thing to raise prices to increase profitability, but another to artificiality make prices worse in such hard times. It's like kicking someone when they're on the ground, you just don't do that. This is a real eye opener and I hope Intel and AMD can really drive the fire up NVIDIA's ass lol
They've been doing this for decades at every opportunity. This is why I've never liked NVIDIA as a consumer. They will not hesitate to "kick someone on the ground" as you said. This is not the first time, and won't be the last.
not a fan. their drivers are better than amd. thats the only reason i think abt buying them. they have been consistently trying to increase gpu prices gen over gen testing the waters, without justifiable performance increases. rtx20 series wasnt worthy upgrade. rtx30 they went with samsung when they could have gotten much better perf with tsmc. people are willing to pay so they keep rising prices. if my gpu fails, i'll stick to owning consoles or try amd gpu. give them my $$. anyways i know rtx40 series is just going to be expensive and nvidia will control production so that value remains. scalpers will love this.
if amd windows drivers have gone better i ll give them a try. long overdue for me. no need to go for nvidia everytime especially if u r not hi perf gamer.
Not trying to justify what NVIDIA is doing is right, but that's just how the market operates worldwide with demand and supply for just about every other product/service.
Even Apple sticks to a inflated price for all it's products. The margins & retail markup that Apple does with each new iPhone/Macbook is just nuts. But hey, when you got people willing to pay a premium for their products, why not ?

wat? amd is the only one having them open source
Ask any linux user whats their the most hateful company and they will say NVIDIA faster then you finish sentence, followed by drivers reason
