The Grill is severely underrated, R.I.P. Four Seasons restaurant. What do you like?

What about for a steak/American fare that’s not a tasting menu
Upland is great
I had been meaning to go to Upland. Glad to hear it’s worthwhile. Is the Park Avenue Winter (season changes seasonally) on that block any good? Been meaning to go there too but the seasons have cycled through a few times and I’ve missed them all
I really enjoy Indian Accent in midtown when I am in the area. Delicious food and not pretentious.
I found that the best places were hole-in-the-wall type spots versus just high-end expensive restaurants. It's really the same more or less when you pass $100/head, and it gets boring and predictable. Check out Briciola in Hell's Kitchen, they have a tuna tartare on Wednesday only that is divine. I went with my wife and it was about $60 and the best meal I had in NYC, even compared to the top-level steakhouses, etc. Really nice environment and if you can sit at the bar instead of the shared community table, it's even better.
Everything that’s on theinfatuation.com/new-york it’s the best place for restaurant reviews
