  • I start at Uber tomorrow, so hopefully they do alright. Lol. Even if the stock drops another 50% it’ll still pay better than Amex.

    Imagine being a reporter, writing about Uber‘s history and not mentioning product fit.

    Easy to use app attracts customers. Easy to use app for drivers looking to earn without the medallion system.

    But sure, go ahead and talk about minimum wage in a system where drivers decide when and how long they work for. Is there any other industry that does this? Maybe it requires regulation, but I don’t see anyone proposing anything other than full employment that drivers do not want (neither does Uber).

  • A software powered vertically integrated government-protected oligopoly (Uber, Lyft, etc) that takes no liability with great profit margin potential should be doing better than they are.
