Trust me it's not worth it. Microsoft has lot of legacy code and it's not beneficial to drop all the technical knowledge for brand name. Try some other company. Also when u apply for other jobs you need to justify the he'll u are doing
While there are a lot of teams which use proprietary tech, there are ones which use open source tech as well. Eg in Azure there is a team called Cognitive search which uses Elasticsearch internally. Also a new te has been setup in Bangalore to work on Microsoft's own Linux distribution. So there are definitely options available, you just need to do some research beforehand
