Need someone to refer me at adobe and Netflix
Please let me know if you can refer me at adobe and Netflix. I saw job posting for data engineer in bay area, and intrested in them.
I was referred internally at Adobe four months ago (and have three other applications I submitted directly online) still sitting in limbo with no recruiter follow-up. Per several posts on Blind, Adobe is terrible about not contacting applicants and referrals, so be prepared for a wait. I hope you are the exception!
Yep, it's the sad truth. I love working for Adobe, but their recruiters absolutely suck at following through on referrals. I often wonder if there is some internal incentive for finding their own leads. It's embarrassing for the rest of us.
Thanks for the reply. Adobe is at the top of my list of companies I hope to join, but I’ve about lost hope and am pursuing other places. May have an offer coming in this week but wish it was from Adobe.
In my experience, Netflix is good at making sure qualified candidates get seen in the process (even if you submit a resume for a job). One challenge you may face is that some wouldn't refer someone they couldn't vouch for.
