Negotiate title and salary

How do people usually start the convo to negotiate both title and salary? If I negotiate title, is it implied I want a higher salary too?

  • Def you cannot ask suddenly and it won’t happen overnight.

    Step 1 : perform well.
    Step 2 : set up meetings with your manager more often. And ask him/her expectations from you to climb the ladder.
    Step 3 : keep reminding your manager in monthly/mid year/ or annual performance meetings.

    After you keep asking him for months and performing well too. You might get it.
