What is it like at Nest? Particularly here in Seattle/Kirkland? It sounds like it has been a mess but with Nest moving fully under Google is there a plan for change?

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Former Palo Alto nester here. Longer hours than Google, more stressful, but I learned a ton. Most people move to regular Google in 2 years.
Is moving to Google hard to do? I’d imagine as an engineer you can move around pretty easily.
Somewhat hard. When I was there in 2015 you had to reinterview, but the interviewers were not as hard on you as regular interviews. Nice thing is that you seem keep levels. It's easier to go from level 3->5 in Nest than Google.
