Guys, Anyone a Senior Data Engineer here? Just wanted to understand a few things: - what is their tech stack like? - scala vs. python vs. java: which is used extensively? - do they allow work from home regularly (like twice a week)? - what is the typical salary range for 15 YOE? Preferably for the Los Angeles office. Thanks.

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
- just google to get a sense of what the tech stack is, fwiw, its basically your modern stack — scala, python, sql, kafka, flink - really depends on your team, in general teams are either mostly flink/scala based or python/sql based depending on data scale - wfh as much or as little as your want, freedom & responsibility - 325k to 600k
Thank you so much. One more question: I have read that the interviews depend on teams, but in general is there a focus on Data Structures and Algorithms or is geared more towards design? Thanks in advance.
Much more geared towards design, experience with similar techstack and culture than any other FANNGs i’ve interviewed with
