Netflix cool off period?
I interviewed at Netflix. As far as I can tell, all my interviews went well. After a week, however, hiring manager decided not to move forward. I am really not sure about the reason. I did not get any feedback except that I am not a good match for the team as of now. What is the cool off period before I can re apply for Netflix? I really like the culture of Netflix.
Happened to me with Apple. Every rounds I got 20mins left at the end.
They interview multiple people for the same position simultaneously. Don’t believe the BS reason of match for the team. Someone else stoked their egos better.

There is no cool off period as such really if your interviews went well. Generally this happens if they don’t find a concrete area where you are raising the bar in the team. You can ask hiring manager or recruiter for more specifics and ask if anything will prevent you from applying for other positions. Generally they are quite candid. At least the HMs and recruiters working with my org.
This, if the recruiter thinks you shouldn't apply another position, he/she will tell you and tell you why.
Yes, ask them if they can recommend a different position/team. No cool off.
