At first they rejected me for being too senior, now they are interviewing me for a contract role. The vendor recruiter was shifty but he seems to be offering 160/hrw2, what do you think their margin is?
If its contract and they are offering you 160/hr on w2 they are billing netflix at least 340-400/hour.
That's more than a real Netflix employee
An entry level Netflix eng makes 400k, with a 20% margin it's my rate. That's what I am guessing. The 600k people at Netflix seem to be because of large raises. 20yoe btw.
At that rate, they are gonna suck the juice out of you and throw you out when done. Think twice. Yes, this comes from an Amazonian.
As in it being low or high
🤦🏻♂️
Why would anyone leave Albertsons for FAANG?
True. Think more than twice OP! You are in Albertsons already
Well I think your contractor is going to get paid high. So ofc you’re expected to perform twice as much as a regular employee and once that project is done, you are gonna be thrown out. So I would think twice
Lol then I can troll all the faang people here who act tough. I accept.
Nah I would never work as contractor anywhere. Not being tough or anything. Just stating what I would do
Why would you contract at Netflix? That makes no sense.
Because they rejected me as a full-time for being too senior
Well try somewhere else?
This guy again. What, eggplants are not selling?
I don't believe anything coming out of this guy's mouth. Show me the contract.
It's an interview
Albertsons...as in the grocery store chain?
