Does Netflix put you on payroll for few months when you're let go? If not, what do the H1B holders do in that case? I understand they give you a generous severance package. But if they don't keep you on payroll, you're out of status and are not allowed to stay in the US.
Losing job and taking a break are 2 different senarios. You get fired you get 2 months to get back on h1b.
