I had the final round of vo with Netflix for a software engineer role last Thursday (04.21) and the recruiter told me that I should hear about their decision by early this week.
But this Monday (04.25) I received a follow up from the recruiter saying that they are wrapping up the interviews with some other candidates, and Iβm expected to hear the result by early next week.
Does Netflix normally interview all the candidates before they make a decision? Or does it mean that my interview performance was not good enough for them to make a quick decision? With news and rumors of companies freezing hiring, reducing hc or having layoffs, I find it a bit hard to relax and patiently wait for the results.
TC: $400k but about to cliff
YOE: 4 years
