Is it good time to pick up some $NFLX?# Please provide your reason in comment section
Company is going down the drain. Going to add advertisements and start cracking down on password sharing. Subscriptions are going to bleed
Yeah the people who are using someone else’s account are going to cancel their “subscriptions”.
$140 a strong buy with IRR at 15% and some safety net. $200 I will buy a tracker share 180 - might buy 20% of total position in netflix 160- will start pilling on..
No. NFLX will lose the streaming wars to HBO. They provide trash content with increasing pricing. The price increase spiral is the worst way to go. Increase price -> lose customers -> monetize existing cusomers harder -> lose customers -> rinse repeat. A large portion of their content is also extreme wokism that 99% of Americans outside of Cali cannot relate to. Meanwhile HBO is pumping out top tier content. A growth stock thats done growing.
I don't think shows like The Witcher, Ozark, and Stranger Things are exactly trash content, but the pricing spiral and sharing crackdowns will definitely lose them net customers. Their pricing has always been based on subscriber growth rates.
Alright let us know when HBOmax has more subscribers and revenue than Netflix
Netflix basically has no technical moat that enables a monopoly, it’s just a content studio at this point. Market is reflecting that and removing the tech premium from the price. I don’t think it will magically rebound unless they figure out their next growth strategy
They are introducing ads, no password sharing, higher subscriptions, and trying to get into mobile faming industry. People think metaverse will fail, but Netflix is going down before meta.
I didn’t cancel because of price. I cancelled the service because of woke programming and putting war criminals like Susan Rice on the board. Eff them and Disney.
Who gives a F you canceled!
Stock at price levels when they had 100 million less subscribers you do the math. Should have held the after hour prices of yesterday but ackman unloading didn't help its case.
Thats not how stocks work. Investors are more often than not buying future growth prospects. Netflix doesnt seem to have any.
