Very competitive new grad comp. congrats

Microsoft yum_cheese Nov 3, 2019

This is solid. Are you a returning intern? And yes, you’ll be able to afford one pretty easily.

Microsoft fettywap OP Nov 3, 2019

0 internships before microsoft but yes, i am a return intern. do you know how much 2bd/2ba in that area usually cost?

Cisco 🦙 Alpaca Nov 3, 2019

Are you married? Why 2/2? Its so hard to clean

Microsoft qYEO71 Nov 3, 2019

With this kind of offer you don't need a roommate and can afford a nice penthouse apartment anywhere in the area

Microsoft _john_doe Nov 3, 2019

Dont fill young brains with your lies and empty dreams. It expensive as fuck here. But yeah you will be fine no worries.

This is a fantastic offer for a new grad, tbh. Take it immediately

Masters or Bachelors? Also any work experience before your latest degree?

Microsoft fettywap OP Nov 3, 2019

just bachelors, no work exp before other than internship with MS

SAP 🛎 dong Nov 3, 2019

Banging offer then

Tesla cgjax Nov 3, 2019

Awesome offer but it also never hurts to negotiate if you want to

Microsoft fettywap OP Nov 3, 2019

do you think it will look greedy? i will be coming back to the same team as i enjoyed my time there!

Activision Blizzard FkdCompany Nov 3, 2019

There's a saying... "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth." You'll look like a greedy shit if you go back asking for more money. Highly advise against trying to negotiate. Remember, you have ZERO experience.

Is 140k stock for all new hires this year?

Microsoft fettywap OP Nov 4, 2019

no, most got 120, some got 70 I think

Snapchat hippbutrr Nov 3, 2019

lol they pay more to L59 new grads than sde2

Microsoft fettywap OP Nov 4, 2019

wait really? This offer is higher than level 61?

Snapchat hippbutrr Nov 4, 2019

Likely yes MS tends to pay more for fresh grads than for experienced professionals

Microsoft pgxl62 Nov 4, 2019

Push for 200k stocks

Microsoft fettywap OP Nov 5, 2019

I don’t think that even possible for level 59 :/

Microsoft pgxl62 Nov 5, 2019

If you're in the university pipeline then it's possible.
