Are VPs dumb or they have different skills that I don't
FWIW, I think the norm in FL is like 65k for new grads
For new grad in Florida that's above average. I'd say average is like 60k-80k out there. What company is this offer for if you dont mind? I'm just curious.
My new grad job in Ft Lauderdale was 55k and this was 5 years ago. I'd say your offer is pretty good The only good tech companies down there are Citrix, Ultimate Software and MAYBE Magic Leap if they ever come out with a real product so competition is high and salaries are low. Congrats OP
Yeah I’d say that’s a great offer. My cousin who was an electrical engineer grad 8 years ago had an offer from a Tampa company around 60K I think.
That’s great for a new grad in Fl. Ft Lauderdale is a higher COL than most of FL, but for a starting salary that’s great.
It's great for new grad. That money goes a long way down here.
What company?
For Florida that’s pretty nice. That’s higher than Bay Area after CoL for new grads. That’s 220k in Bay Area dollars (assuming Fort Lauderdale rent is still 500$)
