Hello Blind, I’m having some dilemma choosing between the two. Atlassian is NY based and has a total comp of 170k per year and the hedge fund is based in London with a total comp of about 150k - 180k USD my first year. (30k sign on bonus so I presume there could be a drop off in subsequent years).
I loved interviewing with the hedgefund and they have a graduate rotation program where I get to work on different teams every 4 months or so. But the biggest thing for me is career growth and learning. I don’t know if I will have a bigger impact working at Atlassian or this hedgefund of about 200 people. Should I go to big tech or into trading?
Atlassian team: assigned later
Hedgefund: rotation first and then pick a team after at least 3 rotations (~ min 1 year later)
Location is also a problem as I will have to move across the Atlantic and I do have a significant other that I’d have to leave behind for at least two years.
Thoughts?
