Due to the visa issue, I have to stay at vancouver to work remotely after graduation. Will microsoft provide housing allowance each month? I saw some people get housing allowance each month in Vancouver on Blind, I don’t know how it works tho. Probably not a general benefit?
Do you want free food too?
They may provide relocation assistance, a agent who will help you with the local bureaucracy : drivers license, apply for a social security number, negotiating a lease. But that’s it. You’ll have to pay for all your expenses. Including housing.
May be a nanny as well?
Nope. Now, some food for thought... If you aren't familiar about the rental prices in Vancouver, I strongly suggest you look into that first and doing the math. Vancouver's an incredible city and the high COL reflects that...
It might have been either interns or maybe relocation package.
Yes, they will not only pay housing allowance as part of your TC, but also everything you need for the daily grocery purchases and your internet connection, even when you head to Granville for a clubbing tour, everything will be included in your salary...
No!
