What is the next big thing in DS/ Analytics to pursue as I feel im in a saturated market! I have around 10+YOE, and have worked in SQL, SAS, Tableau majorly in business analytics and I feel im not doing anything new and have a strange feeling that im getting into Saturation Zone! Please provide your suggestions for a long term career path #dataanalytics #datascience #data
At my org we are actively moving everything out of SAS and into Python, specifically Spark (PySpark). Reason is there is a plethora of ML and NLP libraries, tools, and platforms, not to mention cloud services, that work with Python but not natively with SAS.. SAS is a dinosaur heading for sunset.
NLP and ML Ops.
No offense to DS but as an industry, we are still in the early stages of taming the data. Still a long way before we become the Superman to manage and curate the data as it comes. I see the patterns stabilizing and maturing into the lake house pattern across the board - AWS, Azure, Snow, GCP, Delta, Presto. Once that’s matured, then comes the full potential of leveraging true Data science, algos, anomalies, etc to derive a ton of information.

Thanks but this is for Finite Element Analysis but my question is on Analytics or Data Science
