IC5 Base - 190K Sign-on - 10K RSUs - 300K 8yrs work experience, non engineering role Is this a good offer or should I try to negotiate?
Non-Tech, this is good. Other than Director/VP levels, I'm seeing offers for anywhere from $113K (Twitter, non-tech senior PM) to $165K (non-Tech at a startup, Senior PM) RSUs are all way lower.
Don’t join company is a mess
Are you still at Nextdoor?
Is this a specific team?
I am not sure which team this person comes from, I can vouch for at least a dozen teams I interact with that has great culture.
This is one of the least messy companies I’ve ever worked at. Not sure if this person above is still there. Start-up feel but now has $$ - nice, genuine people. Lots of exciting work to be done, which ofc is not without some growing pains. Groups I’ve interacted w have strategy and direction … and most have lots of opportunity ie lots of work to be done. Nice and small so lots of visibility (if you like being a big fish) you can ALWAYS try negotiating. Seems like a great offer especially w current share price. but non Eng is a vast landscape, r u in finance?
Damn ic5? Financial analyst? I need to work at next door lol
