ive worked at my company for 4 years and transferred to work as a QA. id say im smart and detailed and i follow protocol while also thinking outside the box. i know you cant surely say these things about one self but just go with it lol

so my co worker is an offshore parttime employee while i am full time salaried on site but remote. she is intensely overbearing and controlling. its kind of wierd and odd how overbearing and controlling she is over small things like test cases and documentation or when it comes to taking up tasks for testing the product.

IMO both testers could test bigger stories and such why would only one tester be doing that? also ive noticed some bugs fall through into production when she takes charge and tests everything herself which is why ive become more involved.

ive brought it up politely in a feedback kind of way that id like more management involved between the both of us because she talks to me rudely privately and differently in front of everyone else. she even goes as far as to tell the team i have a lot of mistakes in our standups which is impolite and should be discussed with me first privately because some stuff is where she didnt understand the english terminology for it.

im very open to her opinions and ways of doing things as well as learning from her but her english is not there which makes things 10x harder and she is not open to my ideas until someone else says ive come up with a good idea. she argues every bug i find until someone else has my back and is like ive found that too. i feel really micromanaged here.

what do i do in this situation its becoming frustrating and too much but im not leaving my job. how has anyone else handled this type of situation? ive been nothing but polite and laid back because its work get in do it and sign off but its becomming annoying as shit for a part time employee to be micromanaging me and telling me my work is shit along each step of the way. i got promoted recently so i dont think im too far off skillwise at all.
