I heard at Amazon employees can submit their feedback about their managers to HR as part of the evaluation on manager performance. I never see this at microsoft. Is it the reason some managers at ms can do favortism, create toxic culture within the team, etc without being noticed by our busy executives?
Hmm, is there no Employee Voice Survey at MS? At LinkedIn there's a quarterly EVS and these kinds of feedback can be provided. I have seen direct results from this feedback mechanism regarding managers. There's always HR, but when it gets escalated there, you have a more serious problem.
I remember that I used to evaluate my manager at Microsoft. Was that mspoll?
I personally donβt think mspoll did a good job on this part. The questions designed are not specific enough.
Actually my manager was moved to another team a few days after mspoll because I provided slightly negative feedback. Was a top performer then and my skip seems to have wanted any data point to move him to another org.
