No response after Uber Phone interview
Interview went pretty well. One LC hard questions was asked which I coded and ran without any issue on the hackerrank. I was expecting a pass but didn’t receive any response for a week now. Recruiter is not even replying to my mail. Looks like I wasted time in preparation. update: they came back after 2.5 weeks saying phone screening was positive and then scheduled a 30 min call with the hiring manager after another 2 week. When I joined that call, to my surprise that appeared to be a behavioral interview. I got rejection mail after that call. So frustating...
They took couple of weeks for me too but I was eventually called onsite. Just be patient and sent them a follow up email once every 3/4 days.
Uber recruiters seems to be too busy. I cleared a screen long back (almost a month now) and they are still trying to find a time for onsite for me. I guess Jul 4 th week made everything slow.
It took longer than a couple of weeks for me as well. The recruiter then mentioned that the team I was interviewing for (Elevate) had no headcount atm. They might open it later in the year. He then sent me other teams like Freight and New Mobility (scooter /moped) to consider for onsite.
Same for me. Took 2 weeks and without anything, then had a voicemail left by the recruiter with a rejection.
Frustrating
Move on OP, plenty of other great places to work
