I will be attending Nooglers orientation in Nov this year. I am from India and wished to know if Google gives business class tickets for the travel or not. I heard from some people that the travel class is decided based on distance of travel. Others said that Google gives a budget for travel and you can choose what you want from it. If this is the case then what is the budget while traveling from India? Any info regarding this policy could be helpful. I need this because I am a very nervous flier and often fall ill when taking long flights.
Email candidate help.
Is it possible to get something like a muscle relaxer for the flight? Xanax?
yeah, just go to the pharmacy and ask them to put it on googles account.
How will business class help your nervousness? If you're going to crash, business class will not help you.
Ask google, they will get you a private jet - I got one for my noogler orientation
You are right. There is a budget based on miles. The budget is mostly enough for business class tickets. Example from SFO to Singapore, think the budget is 11k(according to my friend who works at Google and travels almost every other week for work) and thats enough for SA first class tickets mostly. But for new employee orientation, it might be different, not sure.
Google is very cheap in this regard. I was flying recently to Europe and the budget given was only enough for economy. My engineering director was with me on the same flight and he was using his own miles to get an upgrade. I just left G for U last month.
