I have an on-site (virtual) scheduled for a TPM role @ Nordstrom and would like to know more about the process and what's usually covered in them, type of questions to expect etc., Any input/info is much appreciated. Thanks! TC: 145 K #interview #help
Why Nordstrom need TPM ?
We follow a process in our Org at Nordstrom for TPM Interviews. As a hiring manager, happy to answer questions.
@ Oy: Thanks for the response. Can I dm you?
TPM here just joined Nordstrom from AWS and realized how non-technical TPMs here are. 🙂🙂🙂 I definitely see the good intentions from the company wanting to hire better people, but the bar here is questionable. Refreshing, uplifting employees is a long and painful process. The first time ever I think Pip might be a good thing. But yeah, def good company culture.
Can I dm you?
Sure
And oh, OP, mostly behavioral questions tho, so just talk about your past experiences would be fine. Also prepare how would you drive a program from beginning to the end (finding problem area, planning, executing, monitoring, reporting, all the way to complete the project)
Would love to know how this turned out…. sailpoint ..
It’s a crap shoot. They have no formal process. So, it’s totally dependent on the interviewers. Probably look up the interviewers on LinkedIn. They’ll likely use the style of a previous employer. That will likely be Amazon or Microsoft.
Thanks! Did you interview with ‘em?
On both sides.
