Not getting any ping from recruiter for the last 3 weeks

Is there a hiring freeze across companies. I used to constantly get bombarded with email from recruiters until it stopped couple of weeks back. Is anyone else observing this?

    Google recruiters seem to like to actively recruit when their stock is having a good upswing. With Google stock at near two year lows, it might partly explain their slowdown along with uncertainties due to the DOJ probe.

    I've experienced the exact opposite, huge surge of me getting hit up in the last month or so.

    Google recruiter were reaching out back when I was not prepared for interviews, now I have prepared a bit no one is reaching out. May be new grad hiring season.
