Notify employer before bonus reflected on pay check
I got my h1b transfer approval yesterday . my manager notified about my performance and told me it will get reflected on next paycheck which is 31st . can I notify my manager now? Can they actually cancel my performance bonus based on the fact that I'm leaving the company?
Yeah. Most companies have a clause along the lines of “must be employed on bonus payout date to be eligible for the bonus.” Wait until your bonus is paid out.

Yes, most companies will cancel it if you leave. Wait for the cash to show up in your account. It's only a couple of days more.

That is so specific to your company policy. Better to check the internal portal.
