As part of scheduling the onsite interview, I have also been asked to fill out an Employee Application. Along with other details there is also a mandatory 'Salary Expectation' field. When interviewing I usually avoid having any salary discussion until the very end and wait as much as possible for the recruiters to provide the offer first. So this is new to me. I am wondering how seriously these numbers are taken during salary negotiations. Any guidance? How did you go about it?
Put $1 if form validation fails. Otherwise just ignore it
1000000
It’s illegal to ask about salary history in California, New York and a few other states.
They did not ask that though.
Good point
If possible: leave blank. Otherwise fill in a ‘strange’ amount as 0 or 1 or 123
Write “Of course”.
Nutanix interview sucks. Last week I attended and a guy shouted at me, literally. I walked out after that. Guys like this spoil the company reputation.
Is he an indian?
That’s bad! Which team was this?
Lol
Put $3.50
Which team are you interviewing for? I’ve received a similar form too.
