Nutanix shares spiked 17% after hours, 0.75 bn PE investment.

Is Nutanix undervalued relative to cloud players? Am I missing something other than Nutanix hasn't turned profitable yet? Some of my colleagues from my previous job work there. I guess they must be celebrating ๐. Worth buying shares now?
Bain Capital has bought Convertible notes which is a form of debt. It will get equity only in 2026 when the convertible notes mature. The stake would be at tops 17% when Bain gets equity. CEO retiring due to personal reasons. He wants to focus more on his family as his last 11 years have completely gone into building this great company. He is expected to continue to serve as Chairman to the Board of Directors. Media and competitors will always try to pose everything in a negative way.
Private equity has only bought a small stake, isn't it? I am not sure how much of control they would have with less than, may be 20% of shares?
