I’m interested in a hardware engineering role in Nvidia (Santa Clara) and now in the process of negotiating compensation package with HR. I have 13 years experience, what would be a good number to start the conversation (base/RSU/signon Bonus)? PS: HR hasn’t mentioned a about job level yet.

Also, that’s where the negotiation start
Level is IC4.
Base range is 130-200k
Rsu range is 105-210k.
Does this sound about right?
Earlier someone asked how come I didn’t even know the level when HR approached me. This is because it’s the hiring director who approached me first, and we discussed the job responsibilities etc but didn’t ask the level until at right after HR got involved, I asked for clarification on that later.
Also, TC is a factor, in addition to tax.
